The Panhandle Parks Foundation is putting a BBQ Festival on the Map. It is called Smoke on the Water and the new event will be held on August 31 from 11-8 pm at the Coeur d’ Alene City Park. There will be live music, backyard BBQ competition professional BBQ masters, and delish food. Stop by the beer garden and enjoy ice cold drink and some BBQ chicken, ribs and pork. It is a great way to bring the community together by using local merchant’s to create a fabulous home cooked BBQ event.
The event is the beginning of a new festival for City of Coeur d’Alene. Next year Smoke on the Water will be a sanctioned Barbeque Competitive event where 15-30 BBQ teams will compete for cash prizes in the New McEuen Park.
So come down and join us Saturday August 31st at 11 o clock. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Panhandle Parks Foundation whose mission is to acquire, support and preserve parks, open space and recreational areas in all Northern counties of Idaho.
