The K27 Memorial at McEuen Park honors Coeur d'Alene Police Department Sgt. Greg Moore who was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2015. The memorial includes three waterfalls: “Respect,” “Honor,” and “Remember,” cascading into a pool of water lit blue to represent the "Thin Blue Line."
All K27 Memorial donations are tax deductible and are deposited into a restricted separate bank account. In recognition of Sgt Moore's call number, K27, donations in the amount of $27, $270, $2,700 or other increments are requested. At donation levels of $1,500, $2,500, $5,000, $7,500 and up, you will be recognized with an engraved line (per your instructions) on the Donor Wall.
K27 Forever stickers are available for $5 each from the Panhandle Parks Foundation. Proceeds from sticker sales will be held in an amenities account for future maintenance, repair, and upgrades to the memorial.
The Panhandle Parks Foundation accepts electronic payment and can mail stickers. Please write a note to us when paying electronically so the bookkeeper will ensure funds are deposited to the K27 account. Use the PayPal/Credit Card Donate button below, or donate directly on PayPal to Panhandleparks@gmail.com.
The Panhandle Parks Foundation is accepting donations of any amount toward the K27 Memorial in honor of Sgt. Greg Moore.
