Panhandle Parks Foundation is dedicated to enhancing healthy and vibrant communities by facilitating the acquisition, support and preservation of parks, open space and recreational facilities in North Idaho.
Originally formed as the CDA Parks Foundation, the Foundation extended its reach to serve all five counties in Idaho's northern Panhandle.
The Foundation assists with property exchanges, provides guidance on creative fundraising and management, serves as a conduit for matching funds, acts as a 501C(3) umbrella for other organizations, facilitates land acquisitions and land development, and protects and holds open space.
Panhandle Parks Foundation is a volunteer-run organization supported through donations, purchases of naming rights and memorial projects. Thanks to the generosity and support of the community, the Foundation has partnered for several park projects including the K27 Memorial at McEuen Park, Coeur d'Alene Skate Park, Northern Idaho Workers Memorial Monument, Veterans Centennial Park, Fallen Heroes Plaza, Coeur d'Alene Multi-Use Sports Complex, local dog parks and more.
