Past Projects

Thanks to the generosity and support of the community, the Foundation has partnered for several park projects including the K27 Memorial at McEuen Park, Coeur d’Alene Skate Park,  Northern Idaho Workers Memorial Monument, Veterans Centennial Park, Fallen Heroes Plaza, Coeur d’Alene Multi-Use Sports Complex, local dog parks and more.

K27 Memorial

The K27 Memorial at McEuen Park honors Coeur d’Alene Police Department Sgt. Greg Moore who was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2015.  The memorial includes three waterfalls: “Respect,” “Honor,” and “Remember,” cascading into a pool of water lit blue to represent the “Thin Blue Line.” Learn more about the design and symbolism of the K27 Memorial HERE.

North Idaho Workers Memorial

Join us in honoring, remembering, and recognizing those workers that are killed on the job, or died due to illness or disease related to exposure at their job.  The North Idaho Worker’s Memorial Monument at City Park is organized by the Northern Idaho Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, as a gift to the City of Coeur d’Alene and its citizens.

Coeur d’Alene Skate Park

In 2011, a local group of skateboard and bike enthusiasts worked to raise awareness of the need for a new and improved skate park. Through this effort, funds were secured for conceptual drawings to include the new skate park into the Four Corners project. Construction was completed in the fall of 2018. Check out the City of Coeur d’Alene website for more info on the skate park and an interactive map!
